The Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan will receive 100,000 euro from the European Union’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency. The agency awarded the university with the prestigious scientific grant of the Center of Excellence Jean Monnet.

As part of the program, the faculty of political science and journalism will provide research on multidimensional external relations of the European Union with other countries. Researchers want to find answers to questions about the role and significance of the Union in the new international order, as well as about the shape and nature of its relations with the United States, China and Russia and the countries of South America, Central Asia and North Africa.

The program is addressed to students and all people who do not deal with the problems of functioning of the European Union on a daily basis. In addition to the own events at the Faculty of Political Sciences and Journalism, the guest lectures will be held at other faculties of the University and at universities in Poland and abroad.
