AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow produced over 20,000 helmets

Students and employees of the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) as part of the campaign “Helmet for the Medic AGH” assembled over 20 thousand helmet for 207 institutions.

For nearly two months, AGH produced and assembled protective equipment for healthcare, guards, police and municipal services.

All 43 modern 3D printers have been launched for the production of helmets, which were sent to 207 different institutions in 72 cities of southern Poland, including to Tarnów, Nowy Sącz, Jasło, Staszów, Skarżysko Kamienna, Racibórz, Katowice, Gliwice, Bielsko Biała, Zakopane and Krynica.

Medical centers in Krakow received 13,778 helmets, most of which were received by the University Hospital (about 2,400) and to the Specialist Hospital (1275 pieces).


Medicine and biotechnology
