Agnieszka Sobczak-Kupiec from the Cracow University of Technology won “Inventor 2017”

Dr Eng Agnieszka Sobczak-Kupiec from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology at the Cracow University of Technology won the “Inventor 2017” competition. All competitors were applied by the research institutes, technical universities, scientific and technical associations as well as innovative companies and laureates of previous editions.

Dr Eng. Agnieszka Sobczak-Kupiec deals in obtaining nanometals, nanosilver and nanogolds. Her research combines material engineering, chemical technology and nanotechnology. She develops biomimetic implant materials, modeled on biological structures and created a synthetic bone substitute with antibacterial properties.

The “Inventors 2017” competition was organized by the Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers and the Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations of the Supreme Technical Organization together with the “Przegląd Techniczny” magazine with the support of the Patent Office.
