The Wrocław Network and Supercomputing Center of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, the Department of Climatology and Atmospheric Protection of the University of Wrocław and the City of Bydgoszcz are implementing the project “Do you know what you breathe in – an information and educational campaign for cleaner air”.

Cooperation of scientists and officials will enable the creation of a publicly available educational platform monitoring air quality. Educational materials in the form of on-line courses will be prepared in cooperation with medical society, lawyers and teachers. They will concern air quality, its environmental and health effects, emission reduction methods and sustainable mobility

The program will be carried out in Wrocław and Bydgoszcz agglomerations and satellite communes. It will enable to provide a system of air quality forecasts with a simple simulator showing how pollution in individual chimneys affect the immediate environment.
