Center of Mediterranean Archeology to offer archeological scholarships in Egypt

09.08.2019

Students and graduates can apply for scholarships for conducting scientific archeological research in Egypt or neighboring areas. Scholarships offered by the Center of Mediterranean Archeology (CAŚ) of the University of Warsaw (UW) are financed from the funds of the National Agency for Academic Exchange.

The scholarship creates the opportunity for scientific development and participation in the work of Polish archaeological missions in Egypt. Students and graduates of Polish universities can apply for them – regardless of their citizenship.

The scholarship is PLN 1,600 per month. The CAŚ UW Cairo station provides free accommodation and access to the reading room, office equipment, infrastructure and the library of the Station. Scholarship holders can also count on help in facilitating contact with Polish and foreign archaeological missions or scientific institutions.
