Ceremonial opening of the Medical Simulation Center at the Medical University in Poznań

Medical Simulation Center was officially opened at the Medical University of Poznan. This modern, multi-profile center will operate in a new university building –Adam Wrzosek Collegium. The project has received over PLN 16.5 million from European funds.

The Center consists of eight high fidelity halls together with control rooms, the operating department, two intensive care rooms, the hospital room of the emergency department; a carriage simulator, delivery room and two nursing rooms. In addition, there are also six rooms of low fidelity and ten didactic rooms – including a room for practicing with standardized patients.

Exercises with the participation of standardized patients – actors professionally prepared to play the history of the course of a given disease will be a novelty at the Poznan university.
