Collegium Civitas to simulate the legislative process of the European Union

From August 23 to August 28, 2018, within the conference held at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw, the participants will simulate the legislative process of the European Union.

Young people and students from all over Europe taking part in the conference will take over the roles of MEPs, national ministers in the Council of the European Union and journalists. During the simulation, the students will be able to meet Polish MEPs.

The participants of the simulation will be debating the original proposals of the European Commission. The aim of the conference is to understand the structure and functioning of the European Union and to gain experience in negotiations, public speeches and development of leadership skills.

The partners of the project are the Representation of the European Commission in Poland, the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation, the Schuman Foundation, the Capital City of Warsaw, Euractiv.pl, the College of Europe and Collegium Civitas.
