Company from Gdynia uses artificial intelligence to fight cyberbullying

05.07.2019

Samurai Labs – located in the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park Gdynia is the first in Poland laboratory of artificial intelligence fighting cyberbullying. It received a grant from the European program Horizon 2020.

The problem of violence in the network is extremely important because it can affect everyone. In particular, children and adolescents are exposed to it. The concept proposed by Samurai Labs is unique worldwide- the prototype is subjected to very rigorous tests using real data from online forums and social media.

– In this way, we learn how the target solution should look. Our goal is a fundamental change in the approach to protection – stopping violence instead of reacting after the fact. We create the world’s first online Samurai, which will ensure the safety of children – explains Michał Wroczyński, CEO of Samurai Labs.
