Częstochowa Academy in the CEEPUS program with universities from Croatia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Jan Długosz Academy in Częstochowa became the coordinator of the network of the universities “Art without borders” under the CEEPUS program. The network included: the Catholic University of Ruzomberok in Slovakia, the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) and two Croatian Academy of Fine Arts – in Zagreb and Rijeka.

CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) is a program of academic exchange in the field of education and professional development of students and academic teachers. This is the second most important program of academic exchange after the Erasmus + program. The program is intended to strengthen contacts between universities of signatory countries through enhancing the academic mobility. The signatories of the program are: Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary and Kosovo – University of Pristina. CEEPUS scholarships are provided to students for studies / internships and apprenticeships, and to academic teachers for activities that strengthen the Central European character of university curricula.
