Debate on cooperation between business and science at the 11th Investment Forum in Tarnów

20.04.2018

If we plan to achieve development based on innovation we must create a spirit of the dialogue between companies and scientists. Such conclusions result from the debate of entrepreneurs and representatives of science, which took place during the 11th Investment Forum in Tarnów.

The more dynamically developed economy, the greater the percentage of gross domestic product is spent on science. If science receives money, the greater is the chance to implement innovation in business. In order for this correlation to work in practice, it is necessary to integrate both environments that set common goals – said Dr. Stanisław Kowalski, rector of the University of Economics and Computer Science in Kraków.

The panel discussion was also attended by Dr. Eng. Jadwiga Laska, rector of the State Higher Vocational School in Tarnów, Paweł Buszman, president of the board, American Heart of Poland and Leszek Nowicki, president of the board of the Tarnowska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego.
