– I worked on this law together with the scientific community for almost two years. It was a unique work model. Not only in Poland but also in Europe. The European Commission puts this model as a pattern for other countries – said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin in the program “Please explain it” on television wpolsce.pl.

According to the head of the Ministry of Science, “every large reform is controversial”. – I understand this but I will try to push my project through. The Constitution for Science aims to stop the professor caste to block the careers of young and talented scientists – added Gowin.
The Deputy Prime Minister also pointed the need to improve the achievements of Polish science on the international level. – I believe that Polish science should face the best in the world. Polish humanists should not be content only with publications in Polish scientific journals. We all should care about Polish humanists writing in international journals, “- said Minister Gowin.
