Deputy Prime Minister Gowin awards 80 scientists with the Diamond Grants

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin awarded 80 young scientists with prizes in the 7th competition of the Diamond Grant program.

The goal of the Diamond Grant program is to select the best of the best Polish young scientists, creating an accelerated path of career for young researchers with unique scientific achievements.

Each of the winners received up to 220,000 PLN for the implementation of its first independent research projects lasting from 12 to 48 months. During the project implementation, they will be able to receive a remuneration of up to PLN 2,500 per month.

– For several years, our country has been implementing a development plan, a plan to rebuild the Polish economy. Modern strong economy can only be built on the work and research of scientists. That is why we have been building a bridge between Polish science and business for several years – said Deputy Prime Minister Gowin.
