Engineers of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University to work for industry

The research team of the Department of Environmental and Bioeconomy Biotechnology of the University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński (UKSW) in Warsaw created a project for Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW) as part of the implementation of the UKSW strategy for cooperation between universities and industry.

Project under the name “Study on water and sewage analysis for JSW S.A. The “Knurów-Szczygłowice” Coal Mine in the aspect of EU directives in force and the provisions of the new Water Law Act” has been implemented under an agreement concluded by the Rector of UKSW and the JSW Management Board.

The implementation of the research service included the development of the formal and legal status of the water and sewage management of the “Knurów-Szczygłowice” mine in the aspect of adapting to the requirements of the new “Water Law” and the provisions of European Union directives.
