Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University to launch the laboratory of innovative technologies

06.08.2018

The construction of an innovative technology laboratory at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow will begin this year. It will include, among others, the most modern equipment for experiments, which will be purchased in 2020 for the money received from the Regional Operational Program of the Małopolska Region for the years 2014-2020.

The laboratory of innovative technologies has been designed as a modern, functional, but also architecturally interesting building, overhang on reinforced concrete pillars. It will be linked to the existing building of the Faculty of Chemistry. There will be a special gate to transport the materials and devices directly to the laboratory using a rotating crane.

The new building will be completed in the academic year 2020/2021. The total value of the project is almost PLN 30 million.
