The ICEYE-X2 satellite is a joint work of the Finnish ICEYE cosmic start-up and the Polish company Creotech Instruments S.A. As representatives of both companies announced they will launch together the satellite to the orbit around the Earth.

The ICEYE-X2 satellite weighs approximately 85 kg and is equipped with an innovative SAR radar created by ICEYE, which will allow observation of the Earth’s surface regardless of weather conditions. Creotech Instruments S.A. constructed selected components of the satellite and worked on its integration.

Creotech Instruments S.A. has been striving to become a satellite integrator for many years. With the financial support of the National Center for Research and Development, it develops the HyperSat microsatellite platform.
