Foundation for Polish Science to offer scholarships to the most talented young researchers

The Foundation for Polish Science for the 26th time granted START scholarships to the 100 most talented young scientists from all over Poland. They will receive PLN 28,000 for their research.

START is the largest scholarship program in Poland for the best young researchers who are under 30 years of age.
The Foundation also selected two scientists who had exceptional scientific achievements this year: Przemysław Mróz from the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Warsaw and Dr Michał Winiarski from the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics at the Gdańsk University of Technology. Their scholarships will be enhanced to PLN 36,000 – informs the Foundation for Polish Science.
The award ceremony will be held on May 26 at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. The call of applications for the next competition will start this autumn.
