Until 18 January 2019 students can apply for a Fulbright Slavic Award for a scholarship to the US in the academic year 2019-2020.
The scholarship is intended for scholarss employed at Polish universities and scientific units who specialize in the culture and history of Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.
It enables conducting classes with students at one of two universities cooperating with the Polish-American Fulbright Commission: University of Washington in Seattle, where the trip lasts 3 months and includes courses on literary studies, film studies or culture studies, in a historical, social or political perspective, in the context of Polish and Central and Eastern Europe culture, and the University of Illinois in Chicago – a trip for 4 months covering courses on cultural studies, gender studies or film studies and media studies in the context of Central and Eastern Europe.
