– For sure, we need to rejuvenate Polish science, it is beyond any doubt. We have very talented young scientists – said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin in an interview for Polish Radio Białystok.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education noted that many young Polish scientists went abroad and this is a huge, irreparable loss.
– Anyway, I am trying to get as many of them as possible back to Poland- said Gowin. First, the National Academic Exchange Agency was established. Its first program the “Returns” is to offer attractive jobs at Polish universities to these young super-talented scientists. I must say that it is sad that there is more interest in this program among the scientists abroad than the interest of the universities to accept these very talented young scientists – added Deputy Prime Minister Gowin.
