Jagiellonian University launches the synergy between Chinese and Western medicine

On September 18-19, 2018, he Jagiellonian University in Krakow will hold the conference “Integrative Health. A New Paradigm for Health Care” on possible synergies between Chinese and Western medicine.

The organizers of the event emphasize, that Chinese medicine has gained wide recognition in the Western world. Chinese medicine centers are now at many western universities, including the United States, Sweden, Germany and Israel. The conference promoting this approach at the Jagiellonian University was a pioneering event in Poland.

Among the speakers were Prof. Ka-Kit Hui, founder and director of the Center for East-West Medicine at the University of California in Los Angeles, Prof. Jing Zhao from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in Beijing and Dr Magdalena Kocot-Kępska, secretary of the Polish Society for the Study of Pain.
