Jagiellonian University to launch the Mexican Center

The Jagiellonian University (Jagiellonian University) in Kraków, in cooperation with the largest Latin American university – the National Autonomous University of Mexico, opened the Mexican Center.

The main objective of this new university unit will be the dissemination of Mexican science and culture, student exchange, and meetings with Mexican researchers who specialize in experimental, social and humanities sciences.

The ceremony of the inauguration of the Center was preceded by a lecture for students of the Institute of American Studies and Polish Diaspora of the Jagiellonian University, entitled “USA-Latin America: the time of the test”, which was given by Dr Ryszard Schnepf.

The opening of the Mexican Center of the Jagiellonian University took place with the participation of the rector of the Jagiellonian University, prof. Wojciech Nowak and the Mexican ambassador to the Republic of Poland Alejandro Negrín Muñoza.
