Junior school student wins the physics competition with awarded admissions to two universities in Wroclaw

The student of the third-class gymnasium at the Wrocław University of Technology won the 14th physics competition. Krzysztof Nowak presented the project “Levitation of neodymium magnets” in the final of the competition.

The winner is the only junior high school student in the final of the competition. As a reward, he received an admission to any faculty of the Wrocław University of Technology (apart from the Faculty of Architecture) and an admission to the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Wrocław. Earlier, Krzysztof was the laureate of the competition for junior high school students from Lower Silesia in 2018 – in physics, chemistry and mathematics.

Interschool Open Physical Competition is jointly organized by the Wrocław University of Technology, the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Wrocław and the 10th High School in Wrocław. The 14th competition took place under the patronage of the Polish Physics Society, the president of Wroclaw and the superintendent of education in the Lower Silesia.
