Kielce university establishes cooperation with the Japanese Meiji Univeristy of Integrative Medicine

The Jan Kochanowski University (UJK) in Kielce established cooperation with Meiji University of Integrative Medicine in Japanese Nantan (Kyoto Prefecture). It will include medical sciences, as well as acupuncture and judo classes.

Meiji Univeristy of Integrative Medicine is a private university, located in Nantan on the Japanese island of Honshu. Its origins date back to 1925, it has been functioning under its current name since 1983.

UJK emphasizes that the University of Nantan has several twin faculties: nursing, emergency medicine and physiotherapy. Acupuncture classes, which are a separate faculty and the Japanese variety of judo seifuku, are held at medical universities as part of medical fields.

The cooperation agreement was signed in Kielce by Prof. Jacek Semaniak, rector of the Jan Kochanowski University and will be forwarded to Meiji University of Integrative Medicine in Nantan.
