Koszalin University of Technology to participate in the international project “EngiMath – Mathematics on-line model in education”

Koszalin University of Technology with other six higher education institutions will develop and implement modern methods of teaching mathematics at technical universities. The “EngiMath – Mathematics on-line model in education” project is financed by the European Union under the Erasmus + program.

In addition to the Koszalin university, the following universities are involved in the project: Tallinna Tehnikakãrgkool (Estonia) as a coordinating university and Letterkenny Institute of Technology (Ireland), Instituto Politecnico do Porto (Portugal), Universidad Del Pais Vasco / Euskal Herriko Unibersitatea (Spain) and Universitatea Tehnică Cluj-Napoca (Romania).

The aim of the activities is to develop and implement an innovative methods by using a variety of information technologies, means of communication and mathematics teaching model for students of engineering studies. The universities implementing the project will design and develop a course of mathematics for first-year students.
