Krakow University of Technology to launch a new study

Clean air engineering is a totally new field of study in Poland. It has been introduced by the Krakow University of Technology (PK) and added to its didactic offer in next academic year.

The applications can be submitted since June 10. The new course will be run from October 2019 jointly by three departments of PK: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Environmental and Energy Engineering.

Dr Eng. Piotr Beńko, co-creator of the education program of this new course explained that the need to create the “clean air engineering” course results from the growing importance of air quality issues, including its impact on human health and the environment, especially in the context of intensive urban development and climate change.

Regular studies in the field of Clean air engineering will last 3.5 years. Krakow University of Technology has prepared 36 places for its students.
