The Lodz University of Technology will hold the first academic debate “Statutes of the university and the Act 2.0” with the participation of Jaroslaw Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education. The meeting and discussions on the most important document related to the functioning of the university, will take place on Monday 18 February 2019.

About 400 representatives of all universities in Poland will come to the debate at the Lodz University of Technology. They will discuss the most important topics related to Statute 2.0: authorities, organization and management of the university; the structure of a university and the management of scientific research and employees’ affairs, including scientific advancements.

During the event in the expert debate, Piotr Müller, the deputy minister of science and higher education, will present the chances and challenges facing high schools working on the new university statute.
