Mathematician of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń receives the gold medal in Belarus

Kamil Dunst, a student of mathematics and computer science at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, won the gold medal of the 11th international mathematical competition “11th Mathematical Olympiad of the Belarusan-Russian University”.

The organizer of the International Mathematical Competition “International Student Olympiad MathOpen 2020 Belarus” was the Belarussian-Russian University of Mogilev. Students from 25 universities from Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates participated in the competition.

Poland was represented by students from the University of Warsaw and Silesia, the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. The trip was financed under the project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education ,,The best of the best! 4.0 ”.
