Medical Simulation Center opens in Koszalin

A new Center for Medical Simulation for the needs of nurses’ education will be opened in Koszalin. The project will be implemented by the State Higher Vocational School in Koszalin in cooperation with the Specialist Team of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases from Koszalin.

The center will be created thanks to the EU program implemented by the Ministry of Health and subsidies from the Zachodniopomorskie Region and the Koszalin local government. It is the only such center in northern Poland and one of the 30 currently being created in Poland.
The State Higher Vocational School in Koszalin will educate nurses at the highest European level, in a facility equipped with technologically advanced patient simulators. Simulation rooms will be equipped with the necessary audio-video systems for recording simulation sessions, which will allow students to gain practical skills.
