Medical University of Gdansk to launch the first Polish study on the quality of life of patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL)

The Medical University of Gdansk will conduct the first in Poland study of the quality of life of patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). The research ambassador is Prof. Małgorzata Sokołowska-Wojdyło from the Chair and Clinic of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology.

Information activities will begin with the survey of the patients with CTCL “Unknown Lymphomas. Unseen problem” that will be carried out in selected Polish clinics. The authors of the study will in the first place conduct a series of in-depth conversations with both key substantive experts specializing in the treatment of patients with CTCL and patients. The questionnaire for patients will be based on the interviews and the adopted methodology. The result of the work will be a report containing the most important conclusions, gathering not only a statistical description of the patients’ situation, but also indicating the unmet needs of patients in various spheres of their lives.
