The Medical University of Wroclaw has received over PLN 5 million for the implementation of a project developing the practical postgraduate education of PhD students at the Medical Simulation Center. By June 2022, nearly 500 physicians from all over Poland will benefit from the project.
High-specialist post-graduate courses, beyond the specialization program, will be prepared for the project participants. Their thematic scope concerns medical issues based on Evidence Based Medicine related to the development of medical skills in the field of general and pediatric surgery, chest surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, urology and pediatric urology.
The project assumes the implementation of two courses: “European Trauma Course” and “Intensive Practical Course of Endoscopic Surgery in Children”. Six simulation laboratories equipped with the necessary instruments will be launched within the project.
