Ministerial scholarships for Toruń scientists

Three researchers from the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Toruń will receive scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education awarded to scientists conducting high-quality research with an impressive scientific output.

Dr Paweł Pomastowski is Associate Doctor at the Interdisciplinary Center of Modern Technologies. He graduated from master’s and PhD studies at the Faculty of Chemistry. He deals with biocolloid chemistry and surface physicochemistry.

Dr Michał Piechowicz is an Associate Professor at the Department of International and European Law. His research interests are focused on the issues of the decision-making process in the European Union, lobbying and representation of interests at the supranational level and new forms of communication.

Dr Marta Pokrywczyńska is a biotechnology graduate from the Faculty of Medicine of Collegium Medicum. She defended her PhD thesis ‘The role of mesenchymal stem cells in the remodeling of the reconstructed rat bladder wall’ in 2011.
