The National Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA) was established a year ago. On this occasion Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education and Piotr Dardziński, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, paid a visit to the Agency.
NAWA Director Łukasz Wojdyga presented programs implemented by the Agency such as Polish Returns and a dozen other bilateral exchange programs. The first year of NAWA’s activity also includes over 700 participants of Polish language courses and 4,500 authenticated documents.
– Without the National Academic Exchange Agency, it would be impossible to implement the internationalization mission of Polish science and Polish universities. Thank you for the first year of work and congratulations on the achievements – said Deputy Prime Minister Gowin during the meeting with the Agency’s employees.
