New research center of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology to launch new laboratories

Twelve specialized laboratories with modern equipment will be located in the newly opened GEO-3EM research center of the Wrocław University of Technology. The value of the investment is PLN 102.6 million. The Center was established in the vicinity of the “Polinka” cableway station and the Geocentrum educational and research complex.

The three-story building has over 100 different rooms – laboratories, a conference room and warehouse and administration facilities. This infrastructure will be used by scientists from civil and water, chemical, electronics, geoengineering, mining, geology and mechanical faculties. The facility is adapted to the needs of the disabled students.

12 laboratories have been located in the building including Laboratory of Hydrometallurgy Processes, Laboratory of Polymer Plastics Processing, Laboratory of Earth Sciences and Mineral Engineering and Accredited Tape Laboratory and Accredited Laboratory of Work Safety.
