PhD female students of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań join the semi-final of the FameLab competition

Two PhD students at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań joined the semi-finals of the FameLab competition in Poland. The FameLab competition is an international initiative that takes place around the world under the aegis of the British Council. The Polish part of the competition is co-organized by the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw.

The idea of ​​the competition is to seek a common language for scientists and society. Participants of the competition have to tell a fascinating story about a selected scientific issue in three minutes.

The semi-finalists include scientists from Warsaw (6 people) and Krakow (5). Poznań (4 people) was the third, presenting among others two PhD students from the University of Life Sciences: Emilia Zawieja – PhD student at the Institute of Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the Faculty of Food Sciences and nutrition, and Natalia Leciejewska – a PhD student at the Department of Animal Physiology and Biochemistry at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences.
