PhD student at the University of Economics in Wroclaw wins the ETIUDA competition

Mariusz Maziarz, PhD student at the Ecological Economics Department of the Wrocław University of Economics, became one of the 39 winners of the ETIUDA 6 competition. He receives almost 75 thousand PLN for research the causality in contemporary economics.

The young scientist has already been noticed in other competitions. In 2016, he received a W. Styś scholarship for outstanding achievements in the field of social sciences and humanities. In 2016, he won, among others grant of the PRELUDIUM competition in which the National Science Center finances research projects carried out by people starting their careers. He is also the winner of the first place in the competition on the essay “Ethics in Finance. The Robin Cosgrove Award, organized by the Polish Bank Association.

Representatives of various scientific disciplines applied for funds for research within the ETIUDA 6 competition. The most number of 152 applications were submitted in exact and technical sciences.
