PhD student at the Wrocław University of Technology receives scholarships from the Kościuszko Foundation

Jędrzej Górski, PhD student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Wrocław University of Technology, became a scholarship holder of the Kościuszko Foundation. He received a grant of 15 thousand dollars for a 5-month stay in one of the American research centers.

– I am planning to go to the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California for five months. During my stay I will be helping in everyday lab work as well as collecting materials for my PhD thesis – says Górski. The Kosciuszko Foundation is an American-Polish cultural and educational institution founded in 1925. Grants scholarships are addressed to young people and scientists from Poland and the USA to provide information, popularization activities and scientific exchange in the field of Polish culture and science.

The scholars can get funds for scholarships and research grants for studies, research and internships in the USA. The scholarship will cover travel costs, housing allowance as well as health and accident insurance.
