PhD studies in Psychology and Computer Science at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology

21.05.2018

The Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw in cooperation with SWPS University of Humanities and Social Sciences launches inter-university interdisciplinary PhD studies in Psychology and Computer Science.

– Our PhD studies combine psychology with the computer science and they are a response to the dynamically changing situation of psychology and IT science and to the challenges faced by scientists from both fields. The University emphasizes that computer science is increasingly dealing with research problems in the field of psychology. As an example, it provides automatic detection of emotions or generation of faces expressing the various emotions. In turn, psychology has to face the problem of establishing virtual relations and the impact of new technologies on social interactions.
