Poland in Space – cosmic November

15.11.2018

– We have talented, ambitious students who are passionate about space technologies. Warsaw University of Technology is a leader in this field. Thanks to the PW-Sata mission and, I hope, the successful PW-Sat mission2, it will be possible to activate other academic centers in Poland – said Grzegorz Brona, president of the Polish Space Agency, in an interview for Space24.

Grzegorz Brona announced that in the second half of November 2018, apart from launching the Polish student satellite PW-Sat2 into space, launching the Finnish-Polish satellite observation Earth ICEYE-X2, launching the satellite of the European Space Agency with a telecommunications system prepared in Poland, launching the test Polish suborbital rocket to the height of 15 km and Mars landing of the NASA InSight probe with the Polish mechanism are planned.

The events will be promoted by the campaign under the slogan “Poland in Space – cosmic November” implemented with the support of the Polish Space Agency and the Ministry of Enterprise and Technology.
