Poland uses EU funds efficiently

The Ministry of Investment and Development together with the National Center for Research and Development summarized the year 2017.  It is clear that Poles want to invest. Potential investors applied for EU co- funding in 75,000 investments worth PLN 474 billion – said Jerzy Kwieciński – Minister of Investment and Development.

The share of Poland in the EU funds for the years 2014-2020 is 22.6 percent. The European Commission has already paid out EUR 7.7 billion, or 27 percent of the whole amount so far transferred to all Member States. – From this result it may be concluded – said Minister Jerzy Kwieciński – that Poland is efficiently implementing projects provided with the European Union funds.

Only in 2017 for the innovation support, the National Center for Research and Development allocated almost PLN 7.5 billion to implement research and development works within over 1000 projects.
