Polish BLOOM project to launch

University of Agriculture in Krakow and the Copernicus Science Center coordinate the Polish version of the international BLOOM project (Boosting European Citizens’ Knowledge and Awareness of Bio-Economy Research and Innovation).

The project is devoted to the dissemination of knowledge about the bioeconomy. It also aims to increase the involvement of various groups in the planning and implementation of scientific research and practical solutions in this area.

Bioeconomy deals mainly with such areas as ensuring food security, managing sustainable natural resources, reducing dependence on non-renewable resources, mitigating climate change and adaptation to it.
