According to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Polish research apparatus constructed by the Space Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences will be launched aboard the Chinese space probe as part of the Chang’E-4 mission at the end of May 2018.

The Ministry of Science emphasizes that this is the effect of a visit to China paid by Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education and the talks conducted in 2016 with the National Space Science Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
– Let us not be confused by the disproportion between China and Poland. The Chinese treat us as an equal partner, we are for them a bridge leading to Central and Eastern Europe – said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin. in October 2016 at the conference on the visit to China.

The main goal of the Polish- Chinese experiment is the radio observation of the Universe. Investigators are interested in the outermost and oldest regions of the cosmos, as well as the closest surroundings of the Earth and other parts of the Solar System – informs the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
