“Polish Returns” – Polish scientists from abroad moving to the Wrocław University of Technology

Three scientists who have carried out their research so far in the USA, Spain and Italy, will move to the Wrocław University of Technology. Everyone received research grants in the program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange ” Polish Returns”.

Dr Jacek Herbrych from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville, USA) received a grant of PLN 1.1 million and will work for the Department of Theoretical Physics). Dr Eng Grzegorz Pasternak from the University of Trento (Italy) received a grant of PLN 1 million and will work at the Polymer and Carbon Materials Department, and Dr Eng Sabina Rosiek-Pawłowska from the University of Almeria (Spain) received a grant in the amount of PLN 1.6 million and will work for the Department of Structural Fundamentals and Flow Machinery.

Program “Polish Returns” allows scientists working abroad to return and take up scientific work in Poland. Thanks to the program, Polish universities and scientific units will acquire specialists with international experience and knowledge about the latest research trends.
