Polish scientist joins the Council of Advisors for Science and Technology of the US President

Professor Dorota Grejner-Brzezińska will join the US presidential Council of Advisors for Science and Technology – said the White House. The Polish scholar specializes in geomatic engineering, including GPS algorithms and mobile mapping.

Professor Grejner-Brzezińska is a graduate of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, and has lived in the USA for over 20 years. She is a Fulbright scholarship holder. At Ohio State University, she is a professor and head of the department.

The Polish researcher has published over 300 articles, technical reports and other publications on GPS and navigation. She is also a member of the Institute of Navigation (ION), a member of the Royal Institute of Navigation (RIN).
