Polish scientists to focus on a system of intelligent road signs

Researchers from the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Kraków and Gdańsk University of Technology are working on a system of intelligent road signs, adapting smartly to traffic and weather conditions.

The system is designed to help drivers better adapt their speed to the conditions on the road. The main goal of the project is to improve the safety and increase the collision avoidance.

AGH UST Communication announced that the system called INZNAK will be the first such solution in Poland and one of the few in the world. The project was appreciated and financed by the National Center for Research and Development and the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways.
