Polish software in the European Space Agency

12.02.2019

The European Space Agency (ESA) has implemented Polish software in its research center. ESA’s engineers have just approved the final version of the system developed by Astri Polska, which will be used to test GNSS satellite navigation receivers.

The task of the Polish company was to design a universal software that will enable the integration of test devices, creating a comprehensive environment for testing GNSS receivers for space applications.

Such types of receivers will be installed on satellites and launching missiles. The software was developed as part of the FLIGhT (FLexible envIronment for GNSS Testing) project commissioned to the Warsaw company by the European Space Agency in 2017.
