The Polish Space Agency and the Polish Association of Astronomy Lovers have signed a cooperation agreement, under which they will jointly organize events promoting astronomical topics. The first joint event will be the National Youth Astronomical Seminar, which will take place on March 21-23, 2019 in Grudziądz.
The Polish Society of Astronomy Lovers are celebrating its centenary this year, and they are one of the oldest organizations promoting science in Poland. The organization’s goal is to disseminate knowledge about the cosmos by integrating professionals and amateur astronomy and related sciences. The Polish Space Agency is undertaking activities related to the popularization of astronomical subjects as part of the implementation of its statutory tasks.
Both institutions will cooperate to promote knowledge about space by organizing events, lectures, competitions and special actions together.
