Polish technical universities head the EngiRank – European Ranking of Engineering Studies

Warsaw University of Technology took first place in the EngiRank – European Ranking of Engineering Studies prepared by the Perspektywy Foundation in cooperation with the Foundation for the Development of the Education System – FRSE.

The following positions were also taken by the Polish universities including AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow (second place) as well as the Lodz University of Technology and the Wrocław University of Science and Technology (sixth place ex aequo).

The authors of the ranking highlighted, that the mission of EngiRank is to fill the gap in current and reliable information about engineering studies in Europe. EngiRank will assess and classify European technical universities. It will also compare the main disciplines of engineering education (rankings by subject).

The first ranking included 81 technical universities from 12 countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
