Poznań branch of the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice to modernize its laboratory

The Poznań branch of the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice will modernize its laboratory. The project “Modernization of the Laboratory to increase research capabilities for the development of the automotive market and electromobility” is co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund.

The aim of the project is to create a modern research base in the field of electromobility that allows conducting research in accordance with the safety requirements for energy storage systems (RESS) and battery testing for electric vehicles.

The leader of the consortium established to implement the project is the Poznań branch of the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals, the other members are: EXIDE Technologies SA, Poznań; Przemysłowy Instytut Motoryzacji PIMOT, Warsaw and the Institute for Automotive Research and Development BOSMAL Sp. z o.o., Bielsko-Biała.
