Poznań Science Park supports the promotion and implementation of circular economy

31.08.2018

The Poznań Science Park with a scientific partner of the AM Trans Progres company, implements the international CIRCE2020 project. It is an attempt to promote and pilot the implementation of solutions allowing the creation of circular economy in European regions.

The circular economy process is about the re-use or processing of used products for others or for energy. Thanks to this the society will get a renewable and self-healing system. Circular economy means that nothing is wasted. During design and production, it takes into account the most efficient use of raw materials, with the lowest possible energy consumption, and any waste generated in the process is recycled.

CIRCE2020 is a project implemented as part of the INTERREG program by 5 European countries: Austria, Croatia, Poland, Hungary and Italy. The project runs from July 2017 to June 2020, its total budget is 2.3 million euros.
