Poznan University of Technology to cooperate with the University of Kazakhstan

Rector of Poznań University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Eng. Tomasz Łodygowski and vice president for academic affairs Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), Askara Khikmetov signed a cooperation agreement for both universities – informed Poznan University of Technology on its website.

The cooperation will concern the participation of both universities in the ERASMUS + program, student exchange, supervising master’s theses and PhD dissertations, the double diploma program and summer internships.

The Kazakh university is internationally renowned, and it is the leader of scientific and educational activities in Kazakhstan. In an independent assessment by QS World University Rankings from 2018, KazNU was awarded the “Four Stars of Excellence” in the “QS Stars Development Road Map International Ranking” as the first and only university in Central Asia.
