The President of Poland Andrzej Duda and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin met the creators of Polish innovation projects in the Congress 590 in Jasionka near Rzeszów.

The Congress 590 is the largest event in the Podkarpacie Region dedicated to the science and business. As part of the congress, Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin participated in the debate entitled “Science condemned to business” regarding cooperation between science and business. Experts discussed issues related to smart city, venture capital market in Poland, foreign investments, cyber security and the armaments industry.

Participants of the event met the representatives of the National Center for Research and Development, the Polish Center for Technology Development, the National Academic Exchange Agency, the National Contact Point for Research Programs of the European Union, the Information Processing Center and entrepreneurs who have already benefited from funds to support development and innovation, including European funds.
